Personal Profile

You have arrived at the personal profile of Benjamin P. Geisler, MD, MPH - Thanks so much for visiting!

I am a decision-analytic modeler with experience in cardiovascular and oncologic modeling. I am a graduate of the Charité Medical School in Berlin, Germany. Prior to my graduation, I was a research assistant at Charité’s Institute for Social Medicine, Epidemiology, and Health Economics. Subsequently, I completed a research fellowship in decision sciences at Massachusetts General Hospital, working mainly on the economic evaluation of clinical trials. Most recently, I graduated with a master’s degree from the Harvard School of Public Health.
I am the author of an UpToDate card and other peer-reviewed publication and serve as an ad-hoc referee for medical journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine and Circulation. I am currently also a co-editor of "Value in Health", the official journal of the International Society For Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research.

The focus of my current research includes probabilistic Markov modeling, cost-effectiveness and value of information analysis.

To get in touch, please feel free to send an email.

Sincerely,

Benjamin P. Geisler, MD, MPH - May 2010
